Habitat for Humanity of Wood County surprised two Bowling Green families Thursday afternoon by notifying them of their selection as the recipients of two planned builds in Bowling Green.
Marlene Lerch and her family will partner with the first build later this year; and Amy Olea and her family will partner with the 2019 build.
“This is so exciting,” Lerch said after being surprised at her Brim Road trailer home where she and her family have lived for the last nine years.
At the other location, as she was crying after getting the news, Olea said, “Oh my God, this means so much to me. Thank you for making my dream come true.”
