We are open to shop:

Wednesday-Friday 10am-6pm 

Saturday 10am-2pm

 

We accept donations:
Wednesday-Friday 10am-5pm 
Saturday 10am-2pm
Drop-offs received inside the gated area.
Pull up to Door 3 and Ring the Bell. We will help you unload.
Please do not "drop" donations without checking in with a staff member.
 

 

Donation Pick up:
We are able to pick up donations of furniture and appliances located in Wood County free of charge.
Donations must be in good re-sellable condition and be located in a garage or front porch. 
We are not able to enter your home.

Please send photos of furniture to be picked up as well as your address and phone number to our email address ReStore@WCHabitat.org
 

Acceptable Donations

Appliances 

  • We accept: Stoves, Ovens, Dryers, Fridges, Washers, and Freezers

  • We accept most small appliances in good working order

  • Must be in full working order, clean and less than 15 years old 

  • Non-working and older appliances may be dropped off at ReStore for recycling

Blinds (cordless only)

Cabinets 

  • Kitchen Cabinets, Bath Vanities, Medicine Cabinets

  • Must be complete, all door and drawers attached, no nails or screws sticking out

  • No cabinet parts (e.g. doors, drawers, etc.) 

Doors/Windows

  • Interior and Exterior Doors (DROP OFF ONLY)

  • Sliding Glass Patio Doors (vinyl clad with frame)

  • No flat panel doors, shower doors, mirrored closet doors or oversized doors (standard size is 80” high) 

  • Patio/sliding glass doors must be vinyl clad only 

Electrical Supplies

  • Outlet and switch covers, wiring, switches, outlets, junction boxes, etc. (Please bag or box like items)

Electronics

  • Cameras, DVD Players, Radios, Record Players, Speakers, Stereos, VHS Players, Sewing Machines (stand alone only, we cannot accept machines built into tables) Game Systems. 

  • We do NOT accept televisions, monitors, or printers

Flooring 

  • Tile, Carpeting, Rugs, Padding, Hardwood, Laminate, Vinyl, Granite, Marble Tile 

    • Must be unused and a minimum of 1 box

  • Carpeting and Padding 

    • Must be unused, NEW, free of stains and odors, and 50sq. ft. or more 

  • Hardwood/laminate 

    • New or used, no nails and a minimum of 50 sq. ft. 

Furniture - In good, resalable condition (no rips, stains, odors, or pet hair) 

  • Bar Stools, Bookcases, Buffets, Chairs, Chaises, Coffee Tables, Couches, Credenzas, Curio Cabinets, Desks, Dining Chairs, Dining Table Sets, Dressers, End Tables, Futons, Loveseats, Night Stands, Ottomans, Recliners/Lift Chairs

    • Sleeper sofa -  mattress must be in good condition (DROP OFF ONLY)

    • Desks can only be accepted if solid wood, one piece, household sized (no longer than 5’)

  • No particle board, unless new in box

  • No mattresses or box springs 

  • No baby furniture 

  • No office cubicles

  • No bed frames, headboards or footboards 

  • No pianos or organs 

Hardware (must be bagged or boxed - no glass containers)

  • Bath Hardware, Cabinet Hardware, Coat Hooks, Door Knobs, Nails and Screws)

Heating and Cooling 

  • AC and Furnaces (must be in good working order and less than 10 years old) 

Home Decor

  • Baskets, Knick-knacks, Wall Art, Clocks, Mirrors (must be framed) 

Homewares 

  • Pots, Pans, Dishes, Silverware, Cups, Bowls, Plates, Mugs, Serving Platters

Insulation 

  • Must be new and in original pack

Lawn and Garden

  • Garden tools, Gardening tools, Flower Pots, Garden Hoses, Sprinklers

  • Grills, Smokers

  • Fencing

  • Edgers, Lawnmowers, Spreaders, Weed Eaters, Wheelbarrows, Snow Blower, Leaf Blower

    • Equipment must be clean, in working condition and fuel removed

  • Brick, Stone, Cinderblock, Lawn-Care Tools, Slate, Cultured Stone (Must be dropped off at ReStore and palletized) 

  • Patio Furniture

  • Outdoor play structures (swing sets, “Little Tikes” activity centers)

Lighting and Electrical 

  • Lamps, Chandeliers, Ceiling Fans, Indoor and Outdoor Lighting, Breakers, Conduit, Connectors, Fuses, Junction Boxes 

    • No fluorescent bulbs or fixtures, no track lighting, and no used light bulbs 

Lumber/Trim 

  • No used lumber.  Should have straight cuts, no sharp, ripper, jagged or torn sides)

  • Milled lumber - must be 4-16 ft. long (bundled)

  • Plywood - must be ½ to full sheets (no scraps)

  • Trim (Base and Case) must be 4+16 ft. long (bundled)

Plumbing (clean, no chips or stains)

  • Bathtubs, Sinks, Faucets, Bathroom Accessories, Shower Walls; Pans (new only), Shower doors (new only)

  • New toilets only. 

Roofing 

  • Shingles, Roll Roofing.  Minimum of 1 bundle in packaging 

  • Sheet Goods (Plywood, OSB, Drywall, etc.)  Minimum ½ sheet (4’ x 4’)

  • Mattresses and Box Springs

  • Bed Frames, Headboards, Footboards

  • Clothing

  • Medical Equipment

  • Toys & Games

  • Stuffed Animals

  • Media- movies & records

  • Wood Burner and Gas Fireplaces

  • Linens and Soft Goods 

  • Countertops 

  • Hazardous Materials (chemicals, grout, mortar, caulk, etc.) 

  • Paint and Stain (latex paint is accepted for recycling with a small fee)

  • Unframed Glass and Mirrors 

  • Used Ceiling Tiles 

  • Ladders (unless brand new with all labels present)
