At Habitat for Humanity of Wood County, we partner with families to build and repair decent, affordable homes. But before the first wall goes up, before volunteers swing a hammer, before a family signs their mortgage — we need property to build on.

Land is the starting line.

Affordable housing inventory is limited. Available lots are scarce. Prices continue to rise.

• No land = no homes.
• No homes = no stability for families.
• No stability = fewer opportunities for kids to thrive.

A single donated parcel can become:

•  A child's first bedroom
•  A safe yard to play in
•  A stable address for school and work

We recently began work on the rehab home in North Baltimore. 

Thank you to the BGSU Students who came to help our Core Crew with wall removal on February 5th.
